Balcony Safety Nets in Bangalore

A knotted nylon net stretched tight across an open span. It is the practical answer when you need the opening covered quickly, in a rented flat, or across an area too wide for a rigid barrier.

  • Covers wide balcony and terrace spans
  • Suited to rented and leased homes
  • Mesh sizes for children, pets or debris
  • Usually installed in a single visit

Pet and duct safety nets

Closer mesh for cats and small dogs, and covers over utility ducts and gaps behind the washing area.

When a net is the better choice

Not every opening needs a rigid barrier. A safety net makes sense when the span is wide, when the surface cannot take a heavy fixed track, or when you are in a rented flat and want a solution that can be removed cleanly at the end of the lease.

It also goes up faster. Most single-balcony jobs are finished within a few hours of the measurement being approved, which matters when the concern is a toddler who has just started climbing.

Net types we fit

Mesh size and rope thickness change with the purpose, so tell us what the net is for.

Children's safety net

Small mesh across the full balcony opening, tensioned so it cannot be pushed outward.

Pet and cat net

Tighter mesh with reinforced edges, since cats test the corners and lower edge first.

Terrace and open shaft net

Heavier rope for wide horizontal spans over terraces, light wells and internal voids.

Debris and object net

Used where items fall from upper floors onto a common area or parking below.

What makes a net installation hold

Most failed nets we are called to replace fail for the same few reasons. Ours are fitted to avoid them.

  • Anchor points spaced closely along the full perimeter, not just at corners
  • Edge rope threaded continuously rather than tied in sections
  • Tension checked after fixing, so the net does not sag within weeks
  • Fixings placed into structural edges instead of loose plaster
  • Corner gaps closed, since that is where a pet or object gets through

Rented flats and society approval

In rented homes we keep wall penetration to the minimum needed for a safe fix, and we will tell you at the visit which fixing points can be made good later. If your association asks for a written scope before permitting work, ask us for one at the enquiry stage.

Safety Nets: common questions

Life depends on sun exposure more than anything. A UV-treated net on a shaded balcony lasts considerably longer than one on a fully exposed west-facing span. We will tell you what to expect for your specific balcony rather than quoting a generic figure.

Need the balcony covered this week?

Nets are usually the fastest option. Message us the balcony width and height and we will confirm a slot.
